The Flight of the Conchords tour of New Zealand has eight shows between 10 and 21 November 2026, and four of them still had tickets on sale as of 4 October: Christchurch on 12 November, the added Wellington nights on 15 and 16 November, and the closing show at Spark Arena in Auckland on 21 November.
It is Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement’s first New Zealand tour since 2012, and the demand showed. The first Auckland and Wellington dates went in three minutes on the day of general sale, the NZ Music Commission reported, which is why three extra shows were bolted on a few days later.
Which Flight of the Conchords shows still have tickets?
Four sold out and four were still available when we checked the tour page of promoter Eccles Entertainment on 4 October 2026.
- Sold out: Wellington 10 and 14 November, Auckland (The Civic) 18 and 19 November.
- Tickets available: Christchurch 12 November, Wellington 15 and 16 November, Auckland (Spark Arena) 21 November.
Spark Arena is by far the biggest room on the tour, so the 21 November show is the best bet for anyone who missed the first rush.
Flight of the Conchords tour dates 2026, city by city
Wellington, four nights at the Michael Fowler Centre
The home city gets half of the tour. Tuesday 10 November and Saturday 14 November are sold out. Sunday 15 and Monday 16 November were added after the first rush and still had tickets as of 4 October. The pair formed the group in Wellington in 1998, when they were flatmates studying at Victoria University.

Christchurch, one show at Wolfbrook Arena
Thursday 12 November 2026 is the only South Island date. It had not sold out as of 4 October.
Auckland, The Civic and Spark Arena
Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November at The Civic sold out on the first day. The tour closes with an added show at Spark Arena on Saturday 21 November, which still had tickets as of 4 October.
Flight of the Conchords ticket prices and presale
Tickets for The Civic shows ranged from $69.90 to $139.90, according to Auckland Live, which also lists the shows as all ages. Every patron needs a ticket, and children aged 14 and under must come with a caregiver. Prices for the other venues were not published on the promoter’s page as of 4 October 2026, and no support act or show times had been announced.
- Artist presale: 12pm Thursday 17 September to 12pm Friday 18 September 2026, for fans who signed up on 14 September. It is over, so there is no presale code to hunt for now.
- General sale: 1pm Friday 18 September through Ticketmaster.
- Added shows: on sale from 12pm Friday 25 September.
- Ticket limit: four per show in presales and six in the general sale.
Is there a Flight of the Conchords tour in 2027?
No 2027 dates have been announced as of 4 October 2026. The only US shows this year were in Southern California in May, and the November run is billed as their New Zealand homecoming tour. Pages listing 2027 dates are guessing.
How the 2026 comeback happened
- June–July 2012: their last New Zealand tour.
- 2018: UK and Ireland tour and the HBO special Flight of the Conchords: Live in London.
- April 2026: five small warm-up shows at Meow Nui in Wellington, their first live shows in eight years.
- 7 May 2026: Santa Barbara Bowl in California, with Arj Barker as special guest.
- May 2026: two sold-out nights at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles during the Netflix Is a Joke Festival. That is the Netflix link people search for. It was a festival appearance, not a new Netflix series.
- 14 September 2026: the New Zealand tour is announced.
- 21 September 2026: three extra shows are added after the first dates sell out.
Where are Flight of the Conchords from?
Wellington. Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement started the duo there in 1998, then took it to the HBO series Flight of the Conchords, which ran for two seasons and 22 episodes from 2007 to 2009 (12 in season one, 10 in season two). Their debut album The Distant Future won the Grammy for Best Comedy Album in 2008, and McKenzie later won an Oscar for the song “Man or Muppet” from The Muppets.

Are Flight of the Conchords still together?
Yes. They have toured on and off since the TV series ended, and 2026 is their biggest year of live shows since the 2018 UK run.
Is Flight of the Conchords a real band?
Yes. They write and perform their own songs, and their live shows mix songs, skits and audience banter. They have released four albums, from The Distant Future (2007) to Live in London (2019).
Is the Flight of the Conchords show ok for kids?
Auckland Live lists The Civic shows as all ages, with children aged 14 and under to be accompanied by a caregiver. The humour is aimed at adults, so parents may want to judge for themselves.

When did Flight of the Conchords last tour New Zealand?
