The Auckland date was announced on 6 March. As 1News reported at the time, the band last played New Zealand in December 2022, also in Auckland. That December 2022 show was at Eden Park, so this is their second concert at the stadium. “To welcome them back to Eden Park for a second time is special,” Eden Park chief executive Nick Sautner said in the venue’s announcement.

Getting to Eden Park and what you can bring
There is no public parking at Eden Park, and the streets around it have event-day restrictions, so most people walk, catch a train or bus, or get dropped off. The CBD is about a 25-minute walk away. Free parking is possible in nearby suburbs, roughly 15 to 20 minutes on foot, if you check the signs first.
- Bags are strongly discouraged, and nothing bigger than A4 (21cm by 30cm) is allowed.
- The venue is cashless, so bring a card or phone wallet.
- In seated areas, empty non-glass, non-metal drink bottles up to 1 litre are allowed and can be refilled at free water stations.
- No umbrellas, folding chairs, tripods or cameras with detachable lenses. Bring a rain jacket instead.
