Auckland gets most of the big international shows, but Christchurch has Robbie Williams, the Foo Fighters and Electric Avenue, and summer brings the festivals to Gisborne, Wānaka, Mount Maunganui and Taupō. Concerts in New Zealand in November 2026
November is the busiest month of the year. Flight of the Conchords play their first New Zealand tour since 2012, and Robbie Williams brings his stadium show to Auckland and Christchurch with Drax Project and The Lottery Winners in support. December mixes arena shows with the start of festival season. Guns N’ Roses return to Eden Park on Thursday 17 December with Airbourne in support, according to Live Nation’s event page. Tickets for A$AP Rocky’s Auckland show go on general sale on Friday 16 October.

Summer music festivals over New Year
- Rhythm and Vines, Gisborne, 29 to 31 December (campers’ warm-up on 28 December), at Waiohika Estate. The 2026 line-up is headlined by John Summit, KI/KI and Netsky, with Vince Staples, Sir Dave Dobbyn and BENEE. Billed as The Final Dance, it is the last Rhythm and Vines at Waiohika Estate before the festival moves in 2027.
- Rhythm and Alps, Cardrona Valley near Wānaka, 30 and 31 December, with Dimension, BENEE, Fat Freddy’s Drop, MPH and Shapeshifter.
- Northern Bass, Kaiwaka in Northland, 30 and 31 December, its 15th anniversary.
- Rock the Bowl, New Plymouth, Tuesday 29 December at the Bowl of Brooklands, with Fat Freddy’s Drop, Ocean Alley and Carl Cox.
NZ concerts 2027
Bruno Mars was first announced for one Eden Park night on 13 March, as 1News reported in August, and two more nights have since been added. As of 14 October, Live Nation lists 13 and 14 March as sold out and 16 March with low tickets remaining.

Concerts in Christchurch and Wellington
Christchurch’s big nights are Robbie Williams on 28 November, the Foo Fighters on 19 January, and Electric Avenue in Hagley Park in late February. Wolfbrook Arena also hosts Stan Walker, Rise Against, Bryan Adams, Madness, Ronan Keating and two Westlife nights.
Wellington’s list is shorter: Home Brew at Shed 6, four Flight of the Conchords nights, Goodnight Nurse at San Fran, Stan Walker at TSB Arena, K Motionz in February and ABC at the St James in March. Most international arena tours on this list skip the capital.
