Olivia Dean plays Auckland on Saturday 17 October 2026 at Te Wai Ōrea Western Springs Bowl, with Kaiit as her support act. The Art of Loving show was moved there from Spark Arena because of demand, it is the first concert at the Bowl since its $2.5 million upgrade, and as of 8 October 2026 it is sold out.
That makes the British singer’s only New Zealand date the reopening night for Auckland’s outdoor amphitheatre. She has already started the tour across the Tasman, so we now know roughly what the show looks like. Here is what ticket holders, and anyone still hunting for a ticket, need to know.
When is Olivia Dean in Auckland?
The Auckland concert is on Saturday 17 October 2026. It is the last stop of The Art of Loving tour of Australia and New Zealand, which is named after her second album. Every date before it was sold out.
| Date (2026) | City | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Mon 5 Oct | Melbourne | Rod Laver Arena |
| Tue 6 Oct | Melbourne | Rod Laver Arena |
| Fri 9 Oct | Sydney | Afterpay Arena |
| Sat 10 Oct | Sydney | Afterpay Arena |
| Tue 13 Oct | Brisbane | Brisbane Entertainment Centre |
| Sat 17 Oct | Auckland | Western Springs Bowl |
Auckland is the only New Zealand show. There is no South Island or Wellington date on this tour.
Why the show moved from Spark Arena to Western Springs Bowl
The concert was first announced for Spark Arena. In August the promoters, Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents, upgraded it to Western Springs Bowl “due to overwhelming demand”. Anyone who already held a Spark Arena ticket had it reissued for the new venue through their Ticketek NZ account.

The Bowl, the natural amphitheatre beside Western Springs Stadium, has been given a new name, Te Wai Ōrea Western Springs Bowl, along with semi-permanent concert staging and two new hospitality areas. Olivia Dean is the first artist on the new stage. Tātaki Auckland Unlimited’s director of destination, Annie Dundas, said “this event alone is forecast to generate 17,000 visitor nights”, and the agency puts the show’s boost to the regional economy at $2.6 million.
Olivia Dean Auckland tickets and ticket prices
Tickets went on general sale on Thursday 20 August, after a presale. Ticketek NZ is the only official ticket seller, with a limit of four tickets per transaction. The show sold out, and sold out again after a second release of tickets. If more tickets are released, they will come through Ticketek. Anything offered elsewhere is not an official ticket, so treat resale offers with caution.
These were the prices listed by promoter Handsome Tours, in New Zealand dollars:
| Ticket type | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| GA Floor | $199.90 | Standing area in front of the stage |
| GA Terrace | $199.90 | Unallocated, first come first served, no individual seats |
| GA Embankment | $169.90 | Unallocated grass bank, first come first served |
| VIP packages | Price not listed | Sweet Things, A Couple Minutes Fast Pass and Baby Steps Booth (six terrace tickets with a booth and table service) |
There are no reserved seats. Apart from the booths, every ticket is general admission, so where you stand or sit depends on when you arrive.
Who is supporting Olivia Dean in New Zealand?
Kaiit opens every Australian and New Zealand show on this tour. She is a Papua New Guinean-born Australian singer who mixes neo-soul and hip-hop. Her song Miss Shiney won the 2019 ARIA Award for Best R&B/Soul Work, and Space won the 2025 APRA Award for Most Performed R&B/Soul Work.
What time does Olivia Dean start at Western Springs?
As of 8 October 2026, gate and set times had not been published. The venue says timings “will be confirmed closer to the event”. These are the times that have been confirmed:
- Special event shuttles leave from outside 120 Quay Street in the city centre, near Britomart, between 4.30pm and 8.15pm.
- Return shuttles leave the venue from 10pm, and the last bus goes one hour after the show ends.
- Road closures around the venue run until 12.30am.
Check your Ticketek email in show week for the official schedule.
Olivia Dean setlist for The Art of Loving tour
The tour opened at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on 5 October. Rolling Stone Australia’s review describes a show in three acts, with a middle section on a smaller B-stage, and a finale with pink confetti. In Melbourne she played this set:
- The Art of Loving (Intro)
- Nice to Each Other
- Lady Lady
- So Easy (To Fall in Love)
- Close Up
- Let Alone the One You Love
- Messy
- UFO
- Touching Toes
- Something Inbetween
- I’ve Seen It
- Carmen
- Echo
- Time
- Loud (B-stage)
- A Couple Minutes (B-stage)
- The Hardest Part (B-stage)
- Baby Steps
- Ladies Room
- Move On Up (Curtis Mayfield cover)
- OK Love You Bye
- It Isn’t Perfect But It Might Be
- Dive
- Man I Need
Setlists can change from night to night, so treat this as a guide to the Auckland show rather than a promise. In Melbourne she introduced Carmen as a song written for her grandmother, and ran through the crowd during The Hardest Part. We will add the Auckland setlist after the show.
Getting there, parking and what you can bring
There is no on-site parking at Western Springs, and street parking restrictions will be confirmed closer to the day. The Auckland Stadiums event page recommends public transport: Morningside and Baldwin Ave are the nearest train stations, buses run from the city centre, and shuttle tickets are sold separately. Mobility parking is for permit holders who register, and registering does not guarantee a space. There is a bike dock on Stadium Road.
- Bags must be A4 size or smaller. Backpacks are not allowed.
- Weather won’t stop the show, which goes ahead “rain or shine”. Umbrellas are not allowed, so bring a raincoat.
- Not allowed are bottles, professional cameras, drones, gang patches and hi-vis clothing. Free water stations are provided.
- Signs are allowed if they are no bigger than A3 and made of soft material, with no poles or sticks.
- No pass-outs. If you leave the venue, you can’t come back in.
The show is all ages, with conditions. Children 14 and under need a ticket and must be with a parent or guardian, and they can only go on the standing floor with an adult aged 18 or over. Babies 12 months and under do not need a ticket, but they must stay with their guardian in the terrace, embankment or booth areas.
